A red heart in Oakham

Hello everyone !

Today I am going to tell you about Oakham.

Oakham is a pretty, traditional English market town in the East Midlands of England which makes it ideal for a day trip !

The architecture of Oakham School is stunning, and a major landmark in the town. Founded in 1584 it is a highly regarded public school which has seen its fair share of famous pupils.

There is also the beautiful All Saints Church built during the 14th century, situated right in the heart of the town and beside it you can find the most amazing place to have a coffee or a dry cider in the garden.

The Castle Cottage Cafe is pure fairytale, is like stepping into Alice’s wonderland world !

I was simply amazed by this place and I will definitely go back in the summer to have a glass of Prosecco and a nice sweet carrot cake which, by the way is my favourite.  🙂

The photos below will speak for themselves !

See you soon,

XOXO
