Travelling to Cornwall – Penzance (Day 1)

Hey fellow readers !

I have recently travelled to south Cornwall and I want to share my travel experience with you, show the places I have visited there, and what is worth seeing.

We have stayed in Penzance, which is a historic port on the south facing shores of Mount’s Bay and is famous for its pirates. We chose Penzance as it was close to some of the most wonderful beaches and landmarks in UK and it also ticked all the boxes for us as we love to explore picturesque towns.

We chose hotel Union, a 17th century builiding which was visited by Charles Dickens, located in the heart of the town and only a 5 minute walk from the sea.

Unfortunately the time was relatively short as we drove around 7 hours to get there and we have stayed only 4 days but we tried to visit as much as we possibly could and made the most of our time there.

When we arrived we had a quick stroll around the town and then had lunch at Smugglers Den which is a restaurant decorated pirate style ARRR.. before heading up to the hotel to get some rest.

Wandering the town’s streets we also came across the fabulously decorated Egyptian House, art galleries, book sellers, new age shops which add a slightly bohemian feel to the town and an enormous outdoor pool called Jubillee pool.

See you soon !
