On day three on our visit to Cornwall, we decided to visit St Ives, again 20 minutes away from our hotel by car.
St Ives is a fantastic picturesque town, with its white sands, turquiose water, fantastic bay looks and cobbled small streets. Many artists were inspired by this town, hence so many art galleries here. It was voted the best family holiday destination by Coast magazine and one of TripAdvisor’s top 10 European beaches.
Unfortunately the sun did not want to show up on that day so it was mostly cloudy therefore we decided to explore the town and head to the beach later on to enjoy the view.
We visited the town, went on a speed boat and saw a lot of seals in their habitat, tried some local raw chocolate which by the way was absolutely delicious !
After strolling around we got tired and headed to the beach where we sat and watched the seagulls, had a rest and then went to our lovely hotel in Penzance where we also enjoyed a nice live music show.
See you next time !
